Out with the old, in with the new!

I have to say that 2013 was a pretty great year - personally and professionally. I made a lot of wonderful memories with my little family, made some new friends, experienced immense growth in my photography, and had a ton of awesome sessions with new clients (many that I now call friends).

BUT 2014 is going to be WAY better!

This year has already been pretty awesome (besides the freezing cold and rainy weather).

I've already photographed my first newborn of 2014, who just happened to be my sweet baby cousin, Emma.

I have created a new Welcome Guide for all of my clients filled with my new pricing and lots of great information on what to expect and how to prepare for your custom session with ME!

I finally caught up on all of my 2013 blogging. This is an accomplishment in and of itself. That was quite an undertaking.

I joined the Professional Photographers of SC organization and am attending the 2014 convention next month. I'm super excited about spending four days hanging out with and learning from other fabulous photographers.

I really want to do complete a 365 project (daily photo), but I'm failing miserably. I'm still going to try, because I think it would be a great way to push myself creatively - but it's a struggle (for me) to pick up my big camera every.single.day and remember to take a photo and not just any photo… but a good photo.

A few more personal goals:

Nathan and I have decided to get out of the house more - even if it's just for a walk around the block - and eat better. I've not had a Mello Yello in a week. I still kind of miss them.

I'm in the midst of Operation: Declutter. My borderline hoarding days are coming to an end.

Annnd I'm giving up cable and my DVR. Which is HUGE for me. HUGE.

I'm really looking forward to all of the new and exciting things to come this year. And all of the new clients we will be photographing!
